this would be a 55hp the year would be 1993 with a 20" shaft

E means Evinrude<br /><br />55 is the horse power<br /><br />W is work or commercial engine (heavy duty)<br /><br />L is long shaft (20" not 15")<br /><br />ET is 1993 model year<br /><br />B is a model variation,when looking up parts.<br /><br />DHP
