the motor works fine except the oil injection doesnt seem to work, was wondering if anyone here just removed the oil tank and mixes the gas in the tank...wouldnt have to worry about it that way
any feed back would be greatly appreciated..thx

I can't help you with year. In oil injection problem, your injection doesn't work at all or run poor, in second case you tried to run with the oil tank cover loosen? My DT40 runs better with oil tank cover loosen. At www.brownspoint.com you can get some info about year range and model looking at the shape of motor cover and position of writing.

1990 model .... it is easy to disconnect the oil injection and just run it on pre-mix .... take off the oil pump take out the little gear that make it work (about 2 inches long) and put the oil pump back and just leave it like that, it is the easiest thing, you cab remove the oil tank but then you have to plug pipes etc. ....
