I have a tempo 6 gallon portable gas tank for my outboard. Has the same gas cap as the Moeller #621501-10.

I just need a replacement gasket for it, don't need/want to pay for a whole new cap.

Have been searching as best I could but haven't turned up the gasket, not even here.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rich

Maybe take the old one with you to an ACE hardware and replace your gasket with a neoprene O-ring that's just the right size? The ones in our area have quite a selection.

Buy a new cap. I mean how much can it cost? If you can't afford that much go to a hardware store and buy a sheet of gasket material, a magic marker, a scissors and a box cutter and make your own.

I can't imagine Moeller would sell a gasket by itself. What profit would there be in that?
