I want to install a temperature gauge on my 1996 Johnson 150. To be safe I would like to monitor both heads. Is there a way to install two senders on one gauge? How do I monitor both sides? Thanks

I did it a bunch of years ago on my '82 90 horse. Took the water covers off the heads and drilled/tapped for a 1/8" NPT sender (think it was a Chrysler 225 6 cyl auto). Ran two wires up to a SPDT switch under the gauge. One caveat: when switching from one to the other, the gauge will drop low as the thermistor in the sender needs to be biased to work properly.

A single water pressure gauge is a better choice IMHO. It will tell you if the motor is cooling or whether you have an issue, in time to fix it. You motor will already have an overheat warning.
