Your monkey ward motor was made in 1945 by OMC's gail div. It's a 5hp twin. This motor was sold by Montgomery Ward under their brand name Sea King. They were and still are popular little motors. Many such as yours are still in reg use. You may find an after market generic manual that will briefly cover this motor and others like it at a book store or the library. Since it is an OMC motor many parts are still avaiable. You will ask the right people (people in the know) so you get what you need. Odds are if you go to the dealer, they will say they don't have the part. A lot of times they do have the part they just don't know it. Then too, quite often dealers have a person that collects or tinkers with this older stuff,so it never hurts to ask.
