Re: Monsters of the Midway !

I went to opening day this year up at Lambeau. I talked to a few Bear's fans for the majority of the game. (And it was civil, even bought beers for each other) We were discussing each others teams. At that point Grossman seemed like a Fluke, but now I am begining to wonder.

They almost lost to the Vikings, and I think the Bills have been overrated all year. Same with the Seahwks. Though I feel that game says more about the Bears than any other.

I think they have the NFC North all but wrapped up, they play us (Packers) again and then the rest of the North, so there is a good chance they get homefield for the playoffs.

Right now I'll be honest, the only team I see them not being able to beat is the Eagles. Their D-fense has been decent and they have an offense that I feel could score against the Bears. I would like to see the Bears offense against a good D like Denver or Baltimore. Grossman has to prove he can get it done when it really matters. No doubt a quality team though. They efinately have a great chance of going all the way.

Yep, been a long time Bears fan also - second favorite team behind the Steelers. Very impressive team this year. Would really like to see them match up against Denver - that would be another low scoring game - not sure either offense could score on the others D, would be a matter of which defense could score the most points.
