Mooring cover - broken / missing snaps

Does anyone have any experience with trying to repair or replace snaps in canvas? I have seen some snap repair kits in catalogs such as Overtons but have never tried replacing any. Do these kits come with everything you need? Is this something a first timer can succesfully do? <br /><br />Thanks - Emerson

Yes Emerson, it is easy to do.<br /><br />When replacing a broken or missing snap it is a good idea to back up the canvas with a canvas repair patch.<br /><br />Good luck.
