Hey GUYS !

Newbie Again, (4.3L OMC 1994-1995 Cobra)

Ran the boat all weekend. Seemed to run really strong. I really enjoyed it. Few questions about gauges. I want to say my oil pressure ran around 60 between 70 is this usually correct?

Did not accelerate or push motor till it came to about Temp was at 160 degrees. Ran about a half tank of gas out. and it stayed 160. pushed it pretty good after an hour or 2 longer warming it up just going very slow up and down river.... Breaking in seals gaskets....etc. etc.....don't know if that would help but I figured it would....also....ran it yesterday for about half hour....seemed to take a little while to heat up to 160.....thoughts suggestions. ;.

Now I do have a little extra fluid in my stern drive gear lube. I pumped in a little to much. Should I take it out?

If anyone knows .....I believe it needs 2 quarts...64oz......I pumped that in from the bottom after taking the top screw out off the top of casing........I put about 2 1/2 quarts in......yea I know its a little much....Should I drain some tonight....

Howdy,

Model number helps a LOT here. 1994-1995 had 2 VERY different models

432ACMMDA 1994
432ACPMDA 1994
432AGMMDA 1994
432AGPMDA 1994

43APHUB 1995

Both 1994 & 1995 had the raw water pump on the engine.

You might consider getting yourself an OEM service manual. Or have a look at http://boatinfo.no/lib/omc/manuals/1...manual.html#/0

Regards,

Rick
