My 2006 Volvo Penta 5.7gxi was not getting my I found a crack in the distributor. Installed a new distributor,cap,rotor,wires and plugs. The boat now runs great and gets on plane much faster but then bogs down and surges. At first I thought I was hitting sand bars but on the second attempt it also backfired twice. It feels like it is starving for fuel but it must be something we did. . It runs so good off plane up to 3000 rpms. But as soon as we are on plane the trouble starts. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
