Moss in the carpet?

The floors felt fine though. Does moss in the carpet mean the floors in a 17' sea nymph I was looking at need to be replaced? Or can I just replace the carpet?

Does the deck (floor) feel "soft" like it wants to cave in when you step on it anywhere? If not, you should be alright and just replace the carpet, that is if the moss doesn't clean up. If you pull the carpet, I would carefully inspect the deck for rot.
