motor bogs when when i push the throttle down!!!

i have fixed the idle problem my mercury 77 outboard 115 is idleing between 2and 1 1/2 rpm now great but when i take it out on the lake and give it gas the motor wont go. It will shift into first gear and try to move into the next gears but wont. does anyone have any ideas what i have to do to fix this problem i have been told from a guy it might be a fuel pump but it is a brand new fuel pump and to me the fuel pump does not make sense beucase the boat starts right up and idles great any ideas where i should start lookings. Thanks

mine is doing about the same thing and i found out one cylinder wasent firing did u check that

How many speed gearbox is it? never heard of multi speed OB. Have you rebuilt the carbs, or atleast cleaned them? Still sounds like a fuel pump, is it rebuilt? might be not delivering enough fuel when throttled up. If rebuilt double check all things, might be a bad seal so not pumping correctlly.

i think i figer it out its the switch box i hope just another $167.00 it never ends...lol
