motor connector rod

need to tie an aux kicker (9,9 troller) to the main outboard so I can steer with the main steering wheel. there are several available and I would love to hear some opinions as to how well they work and what brand is best .. I am kinda leaning towards the E.Z.Steer, but am open to advice. Thanks:

They have those here at iboats, never used one but it looks pretty straight forward and you only have so many options.

I was talking to a guy that said he had a wireless trolling motor with a handheld remote and would run the kicker straight and use the wireless to steer sounds pretty slick of coarse the tie bar is @$240 and wireless troller is $450.
