cutting out - started about every 20 minutes and after running for a couple hours, I ended up rowing back to the shore. so, I check the plugs and they look like crap - so, I put new ones in and it will start again, but seems to still cut out. So, I get rid of the gas and make sure I'm running clean gas - and it still seems to cut out. So, I replace the line from the tank to motor - cause it seemed to be like if I kept squeezing the primer bulb the whole time it would not cut out. And it was the original line from the 60s so - I'm sure not ethanol ready. So, still cutting out - and I take the cowling off and squeeze the bulb hard and can see gas coming out inside the motor and upon closer inspection - the gas lines are goo - so, I get new lines and put them in and then the motor will not start - and I assume I have grossly flooded the motor and pull the plugs out for it it air out for a while and then after about a half hour I try it again and it does start and runs for about 20 minutes and does not cut out during this time. So, my question is - was the leak/crack in the fuel line the cause of my issue - or when I go to run the thing again, will it cut out again? When it cuts out - it is like a switch is turned off - and it dies right out - but, I have been able to save it a few times by either pulling the choke out or getting right on the primer bulb. Any ideas on this one?
