motor guide wiring

what i have is a plug that is hard wired to the foot pedel which goes into the adapter now i need somthing to go from the adapter to the batt. to make it run, who sells them ?

I'm not sure I follow your question... An adaptor for the battery? What you have there is the plug (from the trolling motor) and the recepticle (The the plug plugs into)... The recepticle just get's wired to the batteries (or fuse box if you're using one).. You just need the proper wire (proper gauge depending on size (And therefore current) of motor), no adaptor needed as far as I know...

ok maybe i words it wrong, the foot pedel plug plugs into that adapter , now i need somthing to plug into that so i can put it on my batt. does cabelas sell them?

i figured it out all i did was get some # 8 wire(red and black) and insert it in the end of the adapter and touch the batt. and it works ......sorry for the confusion.

The device at the end of the trolling motor cable is the "plug" and your case this is called a "twist lock". The device the plug inserts into is called a "receptacle" also called a "twist lock". Two wires run between the battery and the receptacle which gets mounted somewhere at the front of the boat. You need no adapters which you figured out. Just wanted to clarify the terminology.
