pulled off cowl and pulled wire plug frome boot and replced also relaced plugs but still has a miss . Could it be the coil pacs ? 78 140 johnson on 17 mako

make sure your plugs are on in the correct order.

Does it miss at idle or throughout the entire rpm range? An inductive timing light put on each plug wire will show the strength of each spark. They all need to be strong, crisp, constant flashes. Look for misses or erratic spark flashes.

Found wat it was it was a ground wire broken off coil pack and corroded on 2 more. thanks alot, Better fishing and colder beer. rawrdnk
