Motor ID (I hope for the last time)

I have a 9.8, merc110, SN#2617632, could I get year and correct types of lubes and oil to gas<br />mixture. As you can tell I'm a novice at this, but I am careful and you got to start somewhere, right? <br /><br />Thanks for any help<br /><br />Dave

This is a 1969 by by references. 50:1 fuel mix. But , being that old I'd add a little more oil. Check the impellor and change and change plugs if it needs it, and L.U. oil and check for water. I use the Mercury gear lube in my '74 20 hp it cost about 6 dollars for a tube.
