I have a 1989 Force Model 507Y8D Serial 1623<br />Just had the lower unit seals replaced last year.<br />First time on the water this year 2002, and the overheat alarm goes off<br />again! What does this mean? There was No water shooting out the port!<br />Does this mean my water pump needs replacing? What type of job is this? Will<br />I have to replace the lower seals again?

If you are even a little bit handy you should be able to change the impeller and the lower seals should be fine
