Motor replacement- what wires go where?

swapped out my 1990 omc 4.3 with a 1988 omc 4.3, hooked up the main power plug, seem to have power to all instruments, motor starts and runs. I'm not sure about temp guage and for sure not tilt/trim motor. i'm not sure what to look for or where it goes, is there anything i'm missing? this is a 1990 four winns 205 sundowner. thanks

I see the wires coming from the trim/tilt motor but don't see where they plug in.... do they plug into the motor or from wires from thr trim/tilt switch? maybe they have different connectors being different years.. i want to put my outdrive back on but can't if i cant raise it up. thanks
