motor slowly stalls

My 85 omc 1.6 seadrive runs fine for about 5 minutes then slows down and stalls.It doesnt do it all the time though.I sit for a few minutes and it starts fine and the process starts again.The carbs were rebuilt 3 years ago.The vro has been plugged and i mix 50:1.Also it doesnt idle very well.It idles fine out of the water but wants to stall in the water.I figure a fuel prob but was hopeing for some imput from here.Thanks

Sounds like you need to check the vent on your tank, on might check the filter at the pump, the primer bulb go flat? as far as the idle get the running problem first then if it still idles rough try setting it up just a little. Welcome to the forum
