adjusted the links and timing. but the motor was still stumbled at full throttle, get only about 15mph,(with my 16ft tri-hull glastron) low speed ran pretty good.
checked fuel line and bulb, the bulb was firm during running, manfully pumped gas, did not help,
my friend said the gas was too rich,
there is no needle adjustment in my motor, is there any other way to adjust the fuel?
I changed four new jets during the carb cleaning, one lod post suggested one size down the jet, is that only for high spd jets or both high spd and low spd jets? is the motor going to be hurt if the gas to lean?
one old post suggested to check if the float was parallel to the carb base, I know it is not perfectly paralleled, but is that going to be that big effect?
checked spark plugs, seems both cylinders were working.
any motor master here? give me some help. I will try to do a little bit more before I pull it to the shop eventually, if I have to..., do not like that though.
THANKS!
