Can I swap a 120 hp force outboard into an L-drive 120 force in other words I have a
120LD92B and I need to know if I can replace it with an outboard 120 hp force powerhead? It is going in a 1991 bayliner capri L-drive assembly. Thanks

Dumb me i just found a thread on april 12 2011 from Saltheart Foamfollower asking the same Q. and Frank Acampora answering it.
My Q. now is to Saltheart F. did this work or not can you please post your results as i am in this boat now LOL

Update, I found a 1989 125hp out of another l-drive and installed it in my 1991 capri a perfect fit just had to use wiring harness off the 1989 assembly and retrofit it into the 91. Not difficult if I can do it then anyone can. Back in the water again
