How much does the motor trim tab, "if that's the correct term?" have on the torque steer??? I am getting mixed answers from people. I was also told that fighting the torque steer could also have some effect of the chine walking my boat does at high speed.. Any help would be most appreciated..

The only way you will know is to experiment with the setting. It certainly can help with torque steer but every hull is different and its affect on chine walk would likely not be the same in all cases.

Welcome to the forum!!:):)
The tab you're talking about helps to keep the boat straight while under throttle. If the boat is pulling one way or the other then adjust it so it tracks straight.

steer wheel want to turn right, adjust backside of tab to the right. you can keep adjusting a little at the time, until they are 99% perfect.
