Hey ya'll , new to the site , wondering about the trim on my boat . I bought a 16 ft. aluminum tracker last year , but it did'nt have a rear deck so I put one in it . Just wondering if the difference in weight , adding maybe 40 - 50 lbs. extra , would be enough to change the performance of the trim . The boat has a 45 hp merc. , and the previous owner had the tilt reverse lock pin in the third hole from the back . Not sure if that is enough weight to make a difference or if I should just leave it alone . I will appreciate any help !!! Enjoying the site , Thanks

Re: Motor Trim

Only way you will know for sure is to take it for a ride. If it rides bow high or takes a long time to get on plain then move the pin one hole closer to the transom and try again.
