Hi, I have a couple of questions. Can anyone identify the following motor? It is a 40 Hp Evinrude. Sn G03003019, Model E40EENM.
Second question: I have obtained two 35 Hp I-MARS motors. These can be submerged to 400 feet and brought back up and restarted. These are pump jet motors, they are not jet pumps. I need to find a carburetor part # 432703. Can anyone help find a carb?
Thanks
Rob

Re: Motor year ID

40EENM is a 1992 40HP Evinrude.

Do you have the serial numbers for the 35s?

Try: "http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/marinefacts/bloutboard.htm".

Re: Motor year ID

Ezeke, thanks for the info. Can you tell me anything else about the 40 Hp? Commercial, options, etc?
I have already been to that website. I need to find a source for an original carb.
Serial No.'s for 35s are 00921, 00922. I has a carb, one does not.

Re: Motor year ID

The number you have is a casting number. I only found one reference to it and it was to a 30HP with no year, so no help.

If you go through the 35HP parts diagrams and match them to the parts on your motor so that you can get the year that it was made, you can probably figure out the carb assembly number from the parts diagram.

BTW, the manuals for those motors are on CD. I found them on line once, but I don't feel like looking for them now - might have been Ebay.
