I just got a used Motorguide Great White 67lb thrust Model gwb67v from a friend. I used it today and it worked great, except sometimes when I would step on the pedal to turn the TM it would slip. The pedal would move and the direction indicator on the top would turn, but the unit would not. I opened the top unit and the gears were OK. It felt like the slipping was in the shaft.
Can someone shed some light on this for me? Is there a gear that needs to be replaced or something I need to tighted?
