My drive motor starts and stalls during use and is mostly stalled now. The power steering is fine and I have power from the the board to the lower unit. I have inspected the motor and the brushes look good and it is not siezing up,<br />the wiring also seems to be in good order and conections are fine.<br />When I try to actuate the motor voltage is being sent to it but I get nothing then I'll here a crackling sound comming up the shaft and motor will kick in. As soon as I do any adjusting for speed or turning the unit the motor dies. <br />Has anyone seen this before? I see from the scematic that the only component in the motor is the Dura Amp Module. Could this be my problem. Thanks for anyone who could lend a hand.
