My father in law just gave me a Motorguide 30 lb thrust trolling motor. It works great but the mounting bracket is broken. I have never tinkered with these so please excuse my lack of proper terminology. There is a red button that you push to pull the motor up and down. It forms a T and there is a spring on the button end. The T part is broke, so it wont stay in any of the up positions. I put a screw in one end of the T but there is no way it will hold. Are these parts available? What is this part called, and how hard is it to fix this thing. I hope this description is adequete. I did not no how else to explain it.
