I have a 1977 mercury inline 6 1150 with power tilt.
I am trying to install a manual lift jack box on my boat. But the old bolts pattern can not be found in any jack plate in market. I have now a CMC manual jack plate on hand. Does anyone have a boat pattern template or dimensions for that outboard? I want to find a good plan to use the old holes if possible. However, by roughly measuring, the distance between power tile is about 13", the distance between the lowest mounting is around 8" which is on the edge of the gap of jack plate.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

The reason I want to use a jack plate is I want to lift the outboard an inch or two. Now the streams line on the bottom is right on the ventilation plate. So 1 or 2 inch room to go for the shallow water.

I doubt you will find that bolt pattern on any Jackplate. It is unique to Mercs of the 70s'. With luck you can drill holes to match the motor and trim brackets. I have one I drilled for my '77 Merc 1500.

Lifting your motor up for shallow water, with a manual Jackplate is probably a bad idea. It could ventilate at high speeds. The Jackplate should set for minimum motor drag at high speed, without ventilating the prop.
