Don't know if this or Boat forum would be best..anyways... Is it only a matter of preference how you mount a bow mount, wether diagonally down the port or starboard side? I have noticed that most if not all professionally manufactured boats have them mounted on the port. Any thoughts? I plan on mounting my TM tonight and this thought just came to mind?

I think you mean the TM will sit to the right of the bow when it is in the water. The actual mount will be on the left(port) side. I assume torque list is the torque applied by the motor.
Thx
Karrick

Airmar, the maker of most of the transducers in use, recommends that the transducer be mounted on the side of the boat that matches the downward stroke of the prop. Normally with a single engine that would be the starboard side.

Thom
