Gents,
Running #2 battery cable under the bench seats along the side of a 14' aluminum boat and looking for something to use for a chase to protect the cable. 1-1/2" PVC pipe has 2" OD and was looking for something in little lower profile. Any ideas?? I was looking at the residential wire chase stuff at Home Depot. It was pretty cheesy and would probably sag between the seats. Thanks Guys!!!

2 #2 battery cables will easily fit in 1 1/4" PVC conduit. They would probably fit in 1" but it might be kind of tight.

do you just want to balance the boat ? have you considered a simple block of ciment* while keeping the battery near the back and using smaller cable size. Reason being is that the battery up front will likely take a lot more beating & vibrations as you hit the waves

* ciment is a plastic bag will take the shape of the bow and level out nicely
