Re: movies

My preferences are pretty close to WillyB's.

Add to his list:
Dances With Wolves
Open Range

And for Comedy, I haven't seen one I like better than "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Open Range is definately up there.

Lord of the Rings is tops, for me. I feel like I waited my whole life for that trilogy!

Re: movies

the shawshank redemption definitly one of the best based on a short story by stephen king who has also jsut wrote a book called cell which my wife read and it is now going to be a movie she said it should be brilliant and a book he wrote called black house due out on the big screen next year which was so scary gave my wife a nightmare and her mate has only managed to read half of it .
sounds good if it scares wife d:)

Re: movies

"2001: A space odyssey"' "Paint your wagon" and "Jesus Christ Superstar", three movies that if I see just a part of while walking past the tv I gotta see them to the end. I can't even count how many times it's happened.

Re: movies

I have always been a comedy type, but more of in the realm of slapstick. It sounds so bad, but my favorite has to be Dumb and Dumber

However I do have some favorites that are more drama based.....i.e. A History of Violence, 21Grams, Magnolia, and Crash
