johnson...60 hp .....3 cyl........runs on top cylinder, center & bottom cyl have no power..........all 3 have a compression of 98, all have good spark. i swapped the running carb. with the not running bottom carb.....still runs on the top cylinder only.........put hand on carb opening, bottom nothing, center nothing, top will stallout engine.......so we know its not fuel. i'm thinking its crankshaft seals........and i allready put in new reed valves........?????????

Is it a 1970 or '71? Spark plugs. You should be using L77JC4 plugs, not those worthless surface gap plugs that came with the motor.

model ........j60tleoc.......looks like a 1990 or 1991......i have good spark, new plugs too..............
