This is a 1985 MR21 however the seller thinks it's a 20' boat.
1.the splashwell appears to be removed?
2.I thought the 85 model was painted blue on outside?
3.75HP seams real underpowered?
4.trailer seams to be for a much wider boat?

Your photo is too dang small and not of enough of the boat to tell much of anything.

Not much better, same pix when enlarged it shows some sort of splashwell where the motor controls and perhaps fuel hose run into that boot

Appears to have been 'reworked' by previous owner, so possibly painted.

If you want to buy it, AND the seller wants to sell it, more pix should be available.

a 75 is underpowered, but a light aluminum boat wouldnt be a dog at 20-21ft like a heavy glasser.

A running OB is better then no OB, but offers should reflect its underpowered by @50-60%. Whats a 21s capacity 185hp?

this is a craig list from Phillie,PA so it's a salt water boat.
the seller refuses to answer any ?s I emailed him. he insists I call him. ?s like splashwell, do you have a title, power trim operable, cracks in the transome knee brace ect.

the splashwell indeed looks hacked up.

max rated HP for this boat is 145HP. I actually plan a repower w/ a modern 2006+ fuel injected computer controlled evinrude E-tec

curious what is that under the casting deck is that a orginale door? or a cooler slide under there?

ideallally I'd like to have a 1994 the red MR21 I believe to be the last of the 900LB hulls correct me if I'm wronge.

in 1995 the MR21s hull weight increased by 600LBs to 1500LBs.attach image

Take a look at my thread, it's got some pictures for you to compare. Mine is a 1986 MR210. Your console looks much nicer/newer than mine. Also, my VIN plate is on the outside of the transom in the upper right corner.
