MS Word images and animated images

Without drawing my own images in MS Word, is there anywhere I can download images that are already drawn, or animated?<br />I want to make some still cartoons and some animated cartoon vidoes.<br />Or do I have to buy some software in order to do this? <br />I am helping my son with a school project. After a little more research, I found out that it would be better to use PowerPoint instead of MS Word.<br />It is still not easy though.<br />Any tips or hints out there? <br />B.C.

Google for "Clipart" to find some royalty free images. There's also a lot available free of charge.<br />I use GIMP (don't laugh.. ) for animations, but I don't do it regularly. I'm sure others would have better ideas. <br />(You want to go to www.gimp.org - just to save you from googling gimp. )<br /><br />Good luck with your project.
