mud in the lower unit

I got in some mud my 86 Johnson 60 hp stopped pumping water out the p hole. i tried flushing her with the garden hose no luck. any suggestions.no fish today

drop your gearcase and clean out your water pump and replace the impeller, then remove your thermostat housing and thermostat and hook a garden hose to your water pipe that goes up into your engine let it run for a few mins. should about do it. o yea, you may need to blow compressed air through the pee hole
