Is it legal to pull more than one skier or tube?

If so, do both ropes get connected to the same spot on the boat (the same place where just a single would go)?

Is this safe? Looks like it might be fun, looks like it might be dangerous!!

Re: Multiple skiers or tubes

of course it's legal. I have seen in person as many as six skiers behind a boat. Doesn't give you much room to actually ski. I was out with my brother on two different tubes a couple of weeks ago. He wouldn't stay on his side though. For skiing where you have some control you can hook all the lines in the same sport. For tubing I think it's best to get them on opposite sides of the boat.

we ski, wakeboard, kneeboard, with multiples, all the time, even cross over, each other. one has to have a shorter rope, in order to go under the others rope. we do not use multiple tubes as they are too hard to direct, and keep separate. when pulling multiples you need a good rope handler in case one of the skiers falls, to get the rope out of the other skiers way. yes it is dangerous, be ready to take your bumps and bruises. but a heck of a lot of fun.
