well i finally got around to working on it. installed a 73 25 hp Evinrude, elect start, forward remote control, and home made stick steering. the tall stick in the bow is the steering.

Very cool rig, I guess this takes ya right back to your Lonestar build huh?

i fixed it. my lonestar was faster, but this hull is much heavier.

Oh..Ok..

I am no OB expert but 73 hp sounded weird and a bit over powered!
I am thinking a 15-25 on my Lonestar

Okay...I'll bite...notice the cable and pulleys for steering in the stern shot, but can't fathom your long stick for stick-steering...no comprendo senor. Now about those pix, is that your finger or Tasha's nose in one of them?

the pole base is anchored at the hull, just a piece of alumium angle, the pole it thru bolted to the base, so it moves back and forth. just under the bow cover, there is a ring bolt. thru bolted to the pole. secure the cable to the ring bolt. and it move the cable, push stick port, boat goes port.

i am going to do a thead just on the steering.
