Well I got the old girl running, Thanks for all the help.
We out her in Lake Houston this afternoon and like I said this is my 1st Tunnel Hull.
1993 19' Predator with a 120hp Evinrude
This motor has a 4 bladed prop. Seems hard to get on plane, I thought that with the Tunnel it would jump on top; wide open it runs 5500 rpm-- speed ? no speedo.
Hard to turn, when you take a sharp turn it cavitates
The motor does not seem to be in the water far enough when on plane the top plate, right above the trim tab is barely under water
water pressure look good, but I do not have a gauge on it. Tell Tale is strong.
I hope that some one out there has a boat like this and tells me that all this is normal.
If not do I need a jack plate?
After all the work that I have done on this motor and boat I do not want to tear it up
Thanks Mike
