my 5.7 GXI -B hiccups under power

Cant figure this out!!! Motor runs great in idle no hesitation upon engine rev at all. But when im pulling some one out of water it hesitates and hiccups for a few seconds then finally gets moving. Once its moving and RPMs are up, no hesitation at all. Even when I back the throttle all the way down real fast then back on it. Only happens after I pick up my skier then try to get them up again. Could it be thats its loading up ( too rich)? Please help, thanks

I had this when my boat was running cool 125 deg F due to some of the old impeller vanes being stuck in the bypass passage in the thermostat housing. Runs at 165 deg all day now without ant hesitation.

I talked to a service person and he thought I need to have the low pressure and high pressure fuel tested. If either one is not correct - he is indicating I will need to buy a fuel pump module which includes both pumps. $1000.00 not including any labor. That sucks!
