My 5.7 OSXI-GF wont start

Dears

Suddenly my engine decided not to start! I turn the key and engine keep trying to start but it fails to! battery and fuel pump checked already! and working fine, spark plugs recently replaced! it sound to me like a normal starting sound and nothing unusual!

it all started last week, where one day it starts at 1st click and on another took a full throttle to start and yesterday and the day before it failed all the way.. a mechanic had a look at suspects "Something Electrical" and wonna try replacing the Coil and see how that may help!

I also tried to find away to get the Diagnostic SW for this engine (called Vodia) but seems impossible to find anywhere!

Any suggestions or advice please? I feel it is a small thing causing this ! hope so

When you say start, does that mean the engine cranks over but won't start running, or the starter doesn't crank the engine over.

the engine Cranks perfectly but wont start running ... sorry for the lack of details earlier, am not a mechnic and is new to engines in general.

Was any testing done other that checking for codes. Fuel filters checked for water, checking for spark, checking for fuel pump pressure?
Lots of thing could prevent starting other than something that will set a code.

Yes all mentioned items checked, Not sure about the Coil though! and do not know how best can that be diagnosed or checked, Any other areas to look at also?
