My 60HP Evinrude is stalling on me... I think it may be overheating.

I was cruising at full throttle for about 20 minutes yesterday when my engine just decided to stall. So I waited... And I tried starting it again and I waited some more and then I tried again and finally after enough attempts, it starts up. Now here's the interesting part: When I connect the earmuffs to flush the engine, it doesn't shoot out the tell-tale like I've seen in YouTube videos. Is this a bad water pump?

Yes it very well could be do a compression test before you get the wterpump make sure everything is still good in the motor
