My binnacle control is cracked. Where can I get a part?.

In preparation for repowering my Boston Whaler Montauk with a 1990 Evinrude 90 I bought a used binnacle control and gauges. The plastic housing on the engne control was cracked in shipping and I need to replace it. Can anyone identify the manufacturer? I can't find any identifying marks....Thanks!<br /><br />

That's an OMC binacle.Check with your local dealer.Looks just like the one on my 95 Whaler.I would also consider contacting the shipping company as to some restitution.Let me guess.UPS.

Yep...UPS. I've asked the shipper to file a claim. In the meantime I need to order the part. Any recommendations for a web site to find the parts?<br /><br />Thanks!

I don't know of any online stores that would carry just the cover.May be difficult to get just the cover through dealer as well.You could look on e-bay for a used one maybe,but I'll tell you what I would do.I would contact your local dealer first and see if one can be had.If they can only get a new assembly ,I would have the shipper file a claim for the cost of a new assembly and wait for him to reimburse you.You try and get another one used or otherwise through e-bay and the like and your apt to get a double whammy going.As in ,"what can Brown do for you."
