Hello! Does anyone know what type of boat is this? I don’t have any document and the boat does not have any logos, but I really need to know what company makes these boats.

Of course, without a picture it is real hard.

Maybe Kreskin and figure it out.

no documentation makes it easy..... its a yard planter.

dig a hole, half bury it, put the dirt in the hull, and fill it with flowers.

I’ve done a lot of research and there are many boats looking almost like that one but not completely. Still has some differences. It should be completely original still, just very old.

Its post 1972, so it should have a HIN, the boat equivalent of a cars VIN.

Exterior, top right on the transom. The HIN will tell you the maker and year.

Look like an interesting boat for sure. Someone here will identify it for sure, thinking a Formula maybe?. see if you can get a HIN, that should tell you what is make it is. If your looking to purchase check the hull as the boat sitting the way it is can't be good for it. That 6x6 pushing into the hull has to be stressing it if not distorting it... that would concern me most...

Did Sidewinder make anything that long? I think Checkmate made one of that length.

As others have mentioned, get the HIN. My initial thought in that length and with that motor is a Formula. The HIN will tell you manufacturer and year. From there you can go with length and narrow it down to probably just a couple of models. The fact that it is a closed bow, with the hin and a little research, it should get you what you need.

Just out of curiosity, why do you 'need' to know the manufacturer? What are you trying to do with the boat? as others have mentioned, if you are trying to restore it or make it usable again, start by proper supports underneath. I give it until spring and open to the elements, that 6x6 will have a nice indent made in that hull, if not thru the hull completely.

Don’t know what it is but I can picture Sean Connery shooting bad guys who are chasing him from it at 80 MPH while making out with some hot super model dressed in red velvet and never spilling his martini ( shaken not stirred)

Hey again and thank you all already for your help, will get it on a proper trailer first thing. I’ve found out the HIN - FFE824568355 . Where can I control it?

The reason Scott is asking for the HIN is that it does not make sense. Something is off. FFE is the identification for Fast Forward Composites, a company that does not make that type of boat, rather, advanced composite and carbon fiber sailboat catamaran type things.

The last 2 digits are the year of manufacture. Three issues with this one. Fast Forward was not in business in 55. The Modern HIN system was not in place in 1955, and that boat was not built in 1955.

that is not a valid HIN if so, the boat is a 1955, and the FFE MIC code is some little outfit that does small fishing boats in Rhode Island.

you still need to get this in your name and get the paperwork straightened out first.
