Re: my chrysler will not start

Check the obvious things first. Have you checked the compression? Are you getting a good clean spark? If so is the ignition timed close to specs? Are the plugs good? After sitting that long are you using a fresh gas supply and is the fuel filter clogged. Is the fuel pump working or could the diaphragm be dried and cracked? If you have a good spark and the timing is close I would use a 50:1 gas/oil mix and squirt into the carbs and see if it will try to fire on that. That is what I would try first. Hope it helps.

Re: my chrysler will not start

Need,
Sometimes when the motors sit they will develop condensation/oil on the points take a clean white business card (make sure your points are not on a cam lobe)and run your small strips of business card through the points a couple times until you can not see anymore dirty traces on the card. then put it back together and see if it will start. good luck, bret

If you need further assistance please email me @ forcepower01@yahoo.com. thanks,Bret
