Thought I'd share some pics and what things I'll be looking for this winter. My first boat, and learning everything the hard way. Thanks to Jerry for helping me get the carbs replaced after I ruined one when I assumed they must be just like all my old 3 wheeler carbs!

Have to get the tilt worked on next spring, it slowly drops down, hoping it's just a simple fix. Would like to get an auto bilge pump, dealt with some leaking the first few times out on the water. Sure wish I could come up with some fishing rod holders, it's a pain if you put 4 people in there. Got the motor tuned up when carbs replaced, she runs really strong now, that motor humms when you open her up! Trying to learn about fish finders, the OLD one up front will be replaced once I figure out what's reasonable and reliable. I'm hoping to spend every weekend on the water once Spring fishing starts up. I've even considered some winter fishing, but I'll have to see how the weather holds out this year in Kansas. That darn windshield seems crooked, some day have to finger out how to get that adjusted so that the door fits properly. And that silly bimini top seems to always be in the way. I like the idea of having it, not used it, but it's blocking the rear seat, or the rear storage compartments. I might have to take it off, but was hoping to use it a time or two before I do, just to feel "cool".

Anyhow, thanks to all that have answered my questions this Summer. I enjoy coming in and reading the threads in this group, a lot of knowledgeable folks!

Nice boat.

Hmmmm crooked windshield? That is usually an indicator of possible structural problems which causes the walk through area to collapse just slightly and throw off the window alignment. I would sincerely inspect the hull and structure for problems. Any soft spots on the deck? Has the deck been repaired or covered up and re-carpeted?

Good luck with it.

Had a 250# guy stumble on the cuddy roof and drop on the windshield. No longer a perfect fit but close. Nothing structural-- did not even loosen a screw.

Nice looking boat. Should be a good multi use boat. Yeah I think your right the top is kinda in the way for fishing. The windshield on my Stratos wouldn't close right, turned out it was just out of alignment. Thats what happens to a 25 year old neglected boat. Sometimes.
