I have a 1996 150 Merc, carbs, oil injection. I have one piston, #2 damaged. I am thinking of doing this rebuild myself. Some mechanical skills, but never this level. It looks like something I can do, but I have questions about parts needed. Have a Merc manual. The #2 piston is damaged. I will have this cylinder bored, the other 5 honed. I need 1 port piston, .015, rings etc. I need to replace the needle bearings on the connecting rods. Replace rings on existing pistons. What do I need to replace in the crank? When trying to order pistons from Merc by their parts list, is the $183.00 item 12 rings or just one set. I can't figure out their pages.
