Hey bro, nice to see you. Question, the back board that you have your trolling holders on.......is that resting just on the transom/motor mount? And what kind of trailer are you using? If i can find a good trailer I'm going to make a 1 piece floor and tuck under tubes like you did!

I bought the trailer from a friend I work with and it was a flatbottom boat trailer. I made some brackets to mount my plywood to and put 2x4's on each side. The backboard is mounted to the motor mount also.

Re: My Mariner 4 build vid

Hey bro, favor to ask you, I don't know if you have watched any of my videos, but I'm going to link two of them at the end. First of all, I absolutely love the quality of your build, I want to beef up both the front and back "decks" of my boat with much more solid wood and I plan on moving all of my electronics to the back deck similar to yours, even slightly copying the way you mounted your transducer. My question is, what is your honest opinion of my build the way I have it currently, keeping in mind I have to almost completely break it down to transport (even though I'm working on finding and modding a trailer) and if you had any suggestions on things I could do? I plan on doubling the size of both the front and back decks and possibly even leaving the option of mounting the second seat up on the front deck, (I'll leave the pedestal mounted under the deck to hold the weight). Also, on the front deck I plan to ditch the milk crate and install some actual rod holders. Again, like I said the quality of your work has blown me away and would love to have your opinion on my current set up and ideas for what I could change up. Thanks a ton bro!

I think you are definitely on the right track and pretty much got it I will just keep posting any more vids that I make of mods to the raft. Here are pics of the cooler and storage cut outs and the unfinished top. I have to get some larger hinges though but that's no big issue at all.
