I took delivery of my new boat this afternoon!

Robert and Joey and all of the staff at Chatlee did a great job on the sale of my boat today. I really enjoy doing business with a dealer that makes buying easy. Joey also did a great job in giving me the test drive and run down of all the details of the vessel. Thanks again guys. My hat is off to Chatlee Boats in Sanford, NC. I will give it it's first sea trials this Saturday at Mayo Lake.

Glad to hear of the good sales service from the dealer.
When the time come, you must let us know about the quality and integrity of the after sale service.;)

Congrats on your new boat, it is absolutely spotless. :)

Super nice boat - sorry about your choice of motor and truck! ;) :D

To each their own ... you are gonna need a good sales/service department for that black anchor! :D

Hey, have fun with it! I am jealous!

Thanks guys. I have had a couple of "black anchors" before and they have served me well. As for the truck. Its just broke in. It hit 200k a few months ago. I am going to give it a good once over in the AM to make sure everything is right before I dump it in the lake.

Wow! Nice boat! Very roomy looking design, and seating. I also like the low maintenance fiberglas floor, spoked helm, and captain's chairs. I also like the Merc engine, but have no idea on reliabilty of them? What's the expected top speed? Good Luck with it, Mike

Don't be so excited you dump it in and forget the drain plug..:D
Leave your winch cable hooked until the back end is in the water. That way you get used to how the trailer does and how much weight to push it off....

Sharp boat,i like all the storage compartments..

Make sure you follow the break-in period requirements religiously! Those new motors will tell on you when the dealer hooks up the laptop to it to run diagnostics!

Gorgeous boat and trailer... that's a perfect setup for that size. I'm in love with it.

Clean interior, low maintenance, lots of room without being cluttered. Switches/breakers down out of the way and out of the weather, access doors everywhere. They didn't put the 'modern' drop-nose on it so you have more bow to deal with rough water.

The mfg was also thoughful enough to leave you some flat spots to mount some instruments rather than making the entire dashboard 'swoopy'. Double nice.

Looks like you're set up for a bimini top? Great thing to have when you don't want to be baked by the sun.

BTW... What are the two round objects just above the chine near the trailer wheel and just aft of it?

I'm guessing those are inlet/oulets for what might be a live well under that port bench seat. Just a guess though.

Re: My new boat!

I did a shake down run yesterday and did find a few issued that required the use of a screwdriver and a 10mm wrencg. I also need to get a decent antenna for the radio because as with every boat I have ever owned the stock antenna is junk. I also want to get a GPSm VHF and a bimini top since the stock top is sort of pathetic. Now I have a shopping list. Here is a couple more pics:

You are correct sir. Two live wells. One at the bow and one at the stern. The bow is right in front of the console. The stern is located behind the couch below the rear casting deck.
