my new project...1985 fourwinns horizon cuddy v8 merc

thanks for helping,,
i just got a 1985 fourwinns horizon cuddy with small v8 merc 200hp,,

doing the carb right now and ive always had outboards and the inside is a little different with some plunger thing and a long rod with spring pushing on inlet needle i think,any info you iboats boys can give me i shure would appreciate it till i get my manual. whats the most likely bad spots and adjustments needed here..thank you all!!

What carb is it? The plunger thing could be the accelerator pump but we need more info.

so far i have learned i have the mercarb not rochester.im missing the accelerator spring and fuel filter spring,being shipped now
I have buffed the boat out and broke two drill guns in the process.now working with the wood and interior.the gas tank says it has a 27 gallon cap ,seems like a lot.guess im gonna go on long journeys lol
