I have an older Aluminum StarCraft and it leeks at a few of the rivets. I was thinking that a good sealer would do the trick. The boat it self is in great condition and it leaks a little.
I've been reading in the forum about painting the boat, will this do the job for me. Also what would be a good technique to use to flip the boat over to get a good unobstructed access to the hull? My buddies, who I purchased the boat from, used the old spray can method for painting and it doesn't have the same look as a good as a good paint job.

Binary0Boy,

I have sealed several old aluminum boats, from the inside, using a product called Gluv It. The stuff is easy to work with, doesn't smell to high heaven and seals fantastically.

My oldest job is going on eight years now. Strong as day one.

Gluv It is available at:

www.westmarine.com
